BYOMA Skincare and VERB hair products are coming together to create a retail store, day spa, event center and rooftop bar in New York City. Both BYOMA and VERB advocate inclusiveness for their products and acknowledge that skincare and haircare isn’t a one fits all. The goal of this space is to help educate customers on what product combination works best for them by using AI technology, smart mirrors, and so much more.

Archipelago 02

Islands of S.T.E.M.

It was asked of us to establish a Library of Things to enhance the Fayetteville Public Library’s core services. We have been asked to create a solution that allows items of S.T.E.M. to be collected, organized, and loaned to the community. The Library of Things will also serve as an active learning site for S.T.E.M. The deeper goal is to create a community hub that is inclusive, visionary, and purposeful. The concept of this project was to create “islands” of Science and Math on the first floor. The second floor has the “islands” of Technology and Engineering. I have different flooring and a specific lighting design within the islands as well. It was decided to go with a color palette that fed off the codes of OSHA and with that same idea decided to keep a more industrial feel tie back into the engineering aspect of S.T.E.M.

Bee NEXT 03 The Hive

The client needs inclusion between the hub, home, and headquarters. Employees who work most of their time in the hub want them to feel comfort and control. The client also wants the ability to use virtual reality in the future to connect with potential clients like retailers, influences, and customers. They need Privacy for personal conversations and collaboration. The name largly reflects the design that was choosen. The floor plan is an open concept with dedicated spaces for individual and teamwork. I used repeating patterns and a nature inspired color scheme to help the space feel oepn, more relaxed, and to bring Bostons nature from the outside to inside.
