I’d like to personally congratulate today’s Arline Simpson leadership honorees, all of whom exemplify the MRC‘s values of organizational excellence, membership success, economic development advocacy and community catalyst through a very diverse group of businesses. Keynote Speaker Frank J. Vuono FRANK J. VUONO Partner 16W Marketing A leader in the sports marketing industry, Mr. Vuono has helped to shape the marketing standard in professional sports and entertainment. Having consulted for more than half of the teams in the NFL, Mr. Vuono has negotiated recordbreaking partnerships in naming rights, sponsorship, licensing, merchandising and ticket and suite sales. Mr. Vuono is co-founder and partner in 16W Marketing, LLC since 2000. He directs 16W’s Corporate Division. Clients have included Quest Diagnostics, Pro Football Focus, Aramark, Panasonic, Novo, IMG/Collegiate Licensing Company, NIKE, Fanatics, Rita’s Ice, Pro Football Hall of Fame, the New York Giants, NFL Alumni Association, and The Experts Network. During his tenure at 16W, Mr. Vuono was hired by the NFL commissioner’s office to assist the New Orleans Saints (post Hurricane Katrina) in securing millions of dollars in revenue to ensure the team’s future in Louisiana. Mr. Vuono co-founded Integrated Sports International (ISI) in 1993. As CEO and President of ISI, Mr. Vuono spearheaded programs for the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers, Burger King, DHL, Disney’s Wide World of Sports, GM’s Cadillac Division and General Mills’ Wheaties. His ISI team also set benchmarks in stadium/arena naming rights sales in San Francisco, Charlotte, Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Miami. In 1999 ISI was acquired by SFX Entertainment and Mr. Vuono became President of SFX Sports Group’s Marketing Division. He personally managed marketing and licensing programs for sports and entertainment personalities including current 16W clients Boomer Esiason and Phil Simms, as well as celebrity athletes and properties from across the sports landscape including the NCAA, Olympics, MLB, NBA, PGA, boxing and soccer. An expert in intellectual property rights, merchandising and direct marketing, during his tenure as Vice President of Retail Licensing for NFL Properties from 1985-1993, Mr. Vuono built sales of licensed products from approximately $300 million to over $2.5 billion and launched integrated marketing programs that included NFL Pro Line, NFL Pro Shop and NFL Throwbacks. He co-founded the NFL Quarterback Club and became its executive director. His strategic approach to marketing was honed during his early days at Young & Rubicam, where he managed programs for Johnson & Johnson, P&G, General Foods, and KFC. Mr. Vuono is active in community service and charitable endeavors. He is a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health Board of Trustees Strategic Planning Committee. He is chairman of HackensackUMC’s Advisory Board of Directors. He is a member of the HackensackUMC’s Foundation Board of Trustees and will chair the board’s Advancement Committee. He serves as a member of the Finance Committee and as chairman of the Marketing Committee. A graduate and supporter of Princeton University, he serves on its Alumni Council and on the boards of the Princeton Football Association and Princeton Varsity Club. Mr. Vuono also serves on the Board of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber and served nine years on the Glen Ridge Country Club Board of Trustees, four as president.
2018 Honoree ANGELA DAIDONE
Public Relations Specialist Ramapo College of New Jersey Angela Daidone joined Ramapo College as the Public Relations Specialist in January 2015 with more than 20 years of experience in writing and communications. She has used her extensive media and business contacts to successfully promote the College’s mission and student and faculty accomplishments to a broad regional audience. As a volunteer with the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce, she supports the organization’s vision and outreach to the community at large. Angela spent 20 years in the food services industry before returning to Montclair State University, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in General Humanities. She was immediately hired as Communications Specialist for St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, developing strong business relationships with the major television networks and print media. She later entered journalism as a reporter and columnist for several North Jersey daily and weekly newspapers, covering business, health and medicine, food and lifestyles, among other topics, and earned numerous state and national writing awards. Angela also was the first woman to work as sports editor for The Jersey Journal newspaper in Hudson County, overseeing coverage of high school, college and recreation sports. Outside of work, Angela sings with several choral groups that have travelled widely. Her choir sang for the Pope in Rome and performed at the Cathedral Basilica in Newark with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. She is a cantor at her church, an avid cyclist and yoga practitioner, and is an award-winning amateur vintner. She also holds a “birthday party” fundraiser each summer to benefit a local charity. She is a member of the North New Jersey Chapter of American Mensa and serves as its Testing Coordinator. Angela grew up in Bergen County and now lives in Rochelle Park. She has two married children and three grandchildren.

They provide flexible staffing solutions for a diverse group of employers, ranging from small businesses and professional services to the Fortune 500. By integrating flexible staffing models, industry-leading technology, comprehensive recruitment methods and workforce management best practices, the staff at HumanEdge deliver timely access to skilled talent, reduced overhead, and an exceptional match between the employer and employee. Don is Co-Chair of the Ambassador Committee and also serves as a member of the Retention Committee. With strong ties to the New Jersey music community, he can often be seen volunteering as a DJ to support the Meadowlands Chamber and other charity events throughout the state. Don was born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey and attended Rowan University. He is actively involved in his community and dedicated to enriching the lives of others.
2018 Honoree BARBARA FEIT
Business Development Manager AVE Barbara has 25 years of sales and management experience in the hospitality and fitness industries. She is currently a Business Development Manager for AVE, specializing in flexiblestay accommodations, where her primary focus is building relationships with corporations in her markets, which includes the Meadowlands, to understand housing needs for their employees and to build solutions for them. Barbara has been a member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber since she started with AVE four years ago. She values the relationships she has developed through MRC, many of which have become strong clients. She is passionate about the benefits of MRC and now refers all her new clients. Previously, Barbara worked for Bally’s. She began her two-decadeslong career with the fitness company as a part-time receptionist and worked her way up to Regional Director of the Northeast. Barbara has a B.S. in Education from Ohio State University and is passionate about animal welfare. Barbara and her family live in Manhattan. They love walking their dog in Central Park and vacationing in Miami Beach.

Marcelo is the president and owner of M Awards Plus, LLC, a company that specializes in creating recognition awards, promotional and printing products. He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry with expertise in graphic design and project management. His passion is to continuously stand behind the company’s slogan “Be Proud to Display It” by offering quality products and excellent service. He founded M Awards Plus, LLC in 2009. The company is honored to say it has participated in many diverse and exciting projects for all types of companies and individuals, such as providing cost effective award programs and marketing materials to creating a custom award commemorating the late David Rockefeller. The focus has always been to produce something unique for his clients. Marcelo has been a member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber for over 7 years and currently serves as an Ambassador. He is also part of the Small Business Round Table and the ELN (Emerging Leaders Network) Committee. In addition, he has served as co-chair for ELN and has taken on many roles in different committees. M Awards Plus provides numerous of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber’s awards given out in events throughout the year including this year’s Leadership Award of which he is honored to be a recipient of. Born in Quito, Ecuador Marcelo moved to the United States when he was 14 years old. Today he is proud to share his life with his wife Rosana and daughter Emma.
2018 Honoree PETER S. MOELLER
Director of Marketing & Communications Scarinci Hollenbeck, LLC. Peter S. Moeller is the Director of Marketing & Communications at Scarinci Hollenbeck, one of New Jersey’s fastest growing law firms. He has over 10 years of experience in integrated marketing, business development and strategic business planning within the area of professional services as well as technology and legal services. At Scarinci Hollenbeck, Peter develops and manages the firm’s marketing plans and plays a role in business development initiatives and programs. He also leads a multi-faceted marketing department (which began as a one-man operation) comprised of photographers, graphic designers, web developers and writers. Through his creativity, vision and leadership ability, Peter has been able to help Scarinci Hollenbeck expand from a 30-attorney firm to a 65+ attorney firm and transform the way in which the firm communicates with audiences. Peter earned his Bachelor of Arts from Pace University where, among his many other distinctions, he was President of the Pace Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs. Among his many professional awards and accolades, in 2016, he was a recipient of NJBIZ magazine’s 2016 Forty Under Forty Award winners, as well as JSPRAA and the NJ Ad Club’s “Best of the Best” Awards for MARCOM professionals under 40.

Senior Supervising Engineer WSP USA Kyle Winslow is a Senior Supervising Engineer with WSP, formerly known as Parsons Brinckerhoff. Kyle specializes in forecasting vehicle and passenger travel for projects of all sizes. He has been with WSP for 24 years and has participated in a host of planning and engineering projects in New Jersey and New York. Kyle has worked with agencies, counties and municipalities to plan and implement multimodal transportation solutions to improve vehicle, transit and freight travel in the region. Projects that he has worked on include: • The Pulaski Skyway Rehabilitation: Transportation Management Plan • The Financial Plan Element for the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority • The Passaic County Transportation Element • The New Jersey Statewide Long Range Transportation Plan • The New Jersey Statewide Freight Plan Over the last few years Kyle has enjoyed working with the Chamber and its members to discuss the existing and long-range wants and needs of the Meadowlands and its place within the metropolitan region, as a vibrant place to live, play, educate and conduct business.
Lifetime Achievement Award DIANA E. FAINBERG, P. P., AICP Owner, Diana E. Fainberg Associates, LLC Diana Fainberg is a licensed planner and real estate professional specializing in land use and development planning, zoning analysis, property evaluation, infrastructure, transportation and management of regulatory approvals. She brings over 30 years’ experience in planning and development of office, industrial, and residential projects. She has operated her own consulting firm, Diana E. Fainberg Associates, LLC, for the past 20 years, contributing to projects ranging from urban waterfront redevelopment to suburban corporate facilities and shopping centers. A major focus of Diana’s work is strategic management of the complex array of permits and approvals required for development projects in today’s regulatory climate, including the local Planning Board approval process and permitting at the State and Federal levels. She has been involved on behalf of property owners in addressing brownfields contamination cleanup, complex environmental resource permitting, sewerage and water capacity agreements, planned unit developments, traffic studies and other intricacies of the approval process. Diana also provides zoning and land use analysis, site planning and regulatory review for property evaluation studies on behalf of developer clients assessing new opportunities. In addition, she has contributed significantly to studies sponsored by the Airport Cooperative Research Program of the Transportation Research Board, addressing issues of airport real estate development and compatibility zoning. In Diana’s prior experience she held the position of Senior Vice President at Bellemead Development Corporation, a subsidiary of the Chubb Corporation, serving for 15 years in their Planning Department. With Bellemead she was responsible for managing approvals and project coordination for numerous developments. Before joining Bellemead, Diana worked with planning consulting firms and a County planning department in New Jersey. Diana has been at the forefront of regulatory and legislative issues affecting the development industry on behalf of the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, representing the organization on a number of State stakeholder committees. She serves on the Board of Advisors and Operating Committee of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber. In her capacity as the co-chair of the Transportation Committee, she authored the 2014 Chamber policy paper on transportation advocacy, “Connecting the Region for the 21st Century: Investments for our Future”. Recently, she assisted the Chamber in preparing its Vision Plan, presenting a proposal for the future direction of the Meadowlands district.
