Empire Aviation Group is an integrated private aviation business. We operate across three different pillars; sales and acquisitions of private airplanes, management and operations, and aircraft charter services.
How long have you been operating from Dubai Airport Free Zone?
Empire Aviation Group has been operating from Dubai Airport Free Zone since our inception in 2007. It’s been a great experience growing with the Free Zone over the past several years and we want to congratulate the team on its 25th anniversary.
What made you chose DAFZ?
Dubai Airport Free Zone was a natural choice for us. Most private airplanes have been based here at Dubai International since the inception of DAFZ, and this is where some of our managed business jets are based, as well. The location also gives us the closest proximity to all the industry service providers, including flight support, aircraft maintenance, in addition to the great facilities that we operate from including office space and the storage facilities in the light industrial units.
What are the key benefits for companies operating out of DAFZ?
As is the case with any Free Zone, we benefitted from the 100% foreign ownership when we first launched the company. Also, the flexibility and the support offered by the airport authorities and the Free Zone authorities have been second to none since we’ve been here.
How has your growth been with DAFZ?
We’ve been very impressed and pleased to witness the growth of Dubai Airport Free Zone. We have grown alongside DAFZ thanks in part to the industry ecosystem that it has built for the benefit of all the businesses that operate here, and the high quality facilities and convenience that it has created for all partners and their staff. Our thanks to all the senior management and staff at DAFZ who have always been supportive of our business and aviation in general.
