About the artist
Jacinta Majithia is a Houston-based multimedia artist, originally from the wildest place on earth: Medellin, Colombia. Jacinta’s artistic practice is playful but deals with serious matters. Observing physics laws, she twists them with humor to captivate our inner child. During her bachelor’s degree, Jacinta developed a drawing practice with the passion of a colorist. This has continued through her graduate work, and you can feel the same creative essence in her videos and sculptures. Jacinta is a graduate student in the MFA program at the University of Houston, with an emphasis in sculpture. jacintafineartist.com Email: jacimolina@gmail.com
