McVeigh Parker Badger fencing can be used as a mesh on embankments to prevent burrowing and the creation of new setts. Also used as bank reinforcement for highways, railways and reservoirs.

Manufactured from highest quality primary metals only, which guarantee consistent tensile strength every time.
Impenetrable barrier mat when used on embankment. Used for Badger exclusion and diversion as well as bio-security fencing. Widely used to exclude Badgers from farms in TB exclusion areas. Also routinely used along British roads and railways for bank stabilisation. Badger fencing is ideal for double fencing for Approved Finishing Units as set out by The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Use electric fencing as an internal fence line to stop nose to nose contact.
95% Zinc 5% Aluminium coating (known as XTRALIFE) lasts 2-3 times longer than standard galvanised wire. 24% stronger knot joint, independently trialled. Details on request 450mm pre-stripped both ends for ease of tying off. The extra benefits of Alu/Zinc XTRALIFE coated wire are that it is more ductile and more resistant to fatigue. All this and superior corrosion resistance too. The British Standard EN10244-2 coating lists a sacrificial zinc coat of 230 grm-Â2. Badger X fence exceeds these standards with a Alu/Zinc alloy coating which offers an extended life protection, especially when installed underground.
