A Note from the Director
Dearest audience,
Thank you for supporting our young actors in MCT’s production of Frozen, Jr. We are delighted to have you join us! To put it simply: I ADORE THIS CAST. They are so dedicated and so very talented! You are in for a real treat (mmm chocolate!)! I challenged them and they tackled the “mountain” each time. It’s been a joy watching them grow as young professional actors! Theater is a supportive community full of love, kindness and caring. This cast went above and beyond to not only let these “shine on” while on stage, but off stage as well!
The central theme of this show is love and what could be better than celebrating an act of true love between two sisters, especially as we face so much adversity and change in the world around us!
During our 60-minute journey with Elsa and Anna, we encounter an ice harvester, a handsome prince, a comical snowman, a feisty reindeer, wise healers, and many other special characters! It’s truly magical when their characters come to life on stage and our actors embody them fully.
I would like to thank my stellar production team for taking this journey with me and for their support, guidance and for bringing my ideas to life on stage. I had the pleasure of working with so many talented colleagues who never cease to amaze me with their awesome ideas.
Enjoy the show, “let it go” and I hope you will become enveloped by the magic that you will see on stage; it is truly powerful!
Ever dreaming and ever grateful with radiant love,
Sam Frenkel Director
