A century of customer service
Mawsons Concrete has set the benchmark for concreting for more than a century across the Murray Valley.
Since its founding in 1912, it has grown to 40 concrete plants, 16 quarries and seven landscaping centres servicing customers from South Australia, NSW and Victoria.
This year Mawsons will return to the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo for the fourth time, showcasing concrete and rocks.
“We are returning this year to the Seymour expo, opting to not travel to the Melbourne Flower and Garden Show,” Rowan McConchie said.
“Most of our operations are in the area, so it made sense to go to Seymour instead of Melbourne.
“Out of all the expos that we go to, Seymour has been our most successful which is why we wanted to return.”
This year, Mawsons will be showcasing its crushed rock, decorative aggregates and river pebbles from the area, providing a local touch to its operations, as well as having a display of exposed concrete for those who are thinking of doing some landscaping around their home.
“We hope that we will have people who will come by who are thinking of putting in a new driveway or are looking at doing some concrete at their home, and choose to use our product,” Rowan said. “We get a lot of people who come and tell us that they had no idea we had so many quarries, or that they had no idea where they could buy our concrete, and so this expo will hopefully give us some great exposure, and maybe make a few sales too.”
Mawsons is back at the expo for a fourth year, showcasing crushed rock, decorative aggregates and river pebbles.
