The Red Hot Summer Tour returns to the Mulwala Water Ski Club on Australia Day – once again delivering a stellar line-up of rock royalty.

T

he highly anticipated 2014 tour features the legendary Suzi Quatro, The Angels, The Black Sorrows, Shannon Noll and Russell Morris.

Few opportunities exist to see talent of that calibre on the one stage, delivering a celebration of the great rock experience for fans of all ages.

The undisputed international Queen of Rock Suzi Quatro headlines the 2014 Red Hot Summer Tour.

There are few female performers who have a career as successful and versatile as Suzi Quatro.

When it comes to summing up her decades of music, it’s fair to say Suzi has never stopped working in one guise or another, whether it is playing her solo rock show to packed houses, hosting her own show on the BBC Radio 2, performing on the West End or penning hit songs.

To date, this enigmatic performer has sold more than 55 million records, in fact, for a seven year period in the 1970s she was featured in the British charts for an incredible 101 weeks. Her hits include The Wild One, 48 Crash, Devil Gate Drive, She’s in Love with You and If You Can’t Give Me Love to name a few.

Suzi is no stranger to Australia and has a soft spot for the Land Down Under. She says she can’t wait to join the 2014 Red Hot Summer tour line-up.

“I have been touring Australia since 1974 and have actually lost count of how many times I have been there,” she said.

“It is my second home and I love it dearly.

Nobody in the world rocks has hard as the Aussies, and from me… that’s what they’re gonna get – foot on the gas and go. I’m so looking forward to this special summer tour.”

When it comes to great Aussie rock, it doesn’t come much better than The Angels. It’s been almost four decades since brothers Rick and John Brewster co-founded the iconic band and over the years they’ve penned some of Australia’s most anthemic tracks.

The Angels have seen line-up changes but they’ve always maintained that pure Australian rock sound and are widely reputed for their killer live shows.

Fronted now by Dave Gleeson – of The Screaming Jets fame – The Angels recently released an album of new material, garnering themselves a whole new fan base and proving it’s all about good rock.

Since Dave joined the band two years ago, he has earned the respect of die-hard fans and is now settled as a permanent part of the band. With hits like Long Line, Marseille, Be With You, After the Rain, Shadow Boxer and Mr Damage to name a few, audiences will be in for a treat when The Angels take

A ‘Little Ray of Sunshine’ at WPAC Glenn Shorrock and Brian Cadd have reunited on stage for an Australian tour, including one exclusive concert at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday, February 26.

Shorrock is best known as part of the internationally acclaimed Little River Band and mega hits including Reminiscing, Help is on Its Way, Home on a Monday and the classic Cool Change.

Along with his success with The Groop, Cadd has penned songs for Joe Crocker, Ringo Starr, The Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Tyler, Charlie Daniels and many more.

In addition, Shorrock and Cadd are celebrating the launch of their new album – The Story of Sharky and the Caddman.

Released by Ambition Music, the album is in stores now.

"The two of us have been mates since we were little more than kids,” said Cadd. “Musically we just always seemed to click and our voices have a most unique sound together.

“We've certainly been on all the rides and every step and adventure has been laced with humour and fun. It happened all during the recording sessions and I'm certain will continue on the road. The status remains very much quo.”
