Thedistricthascommitted$2milliontothis$13millionproject,withtheremainingfundsbeing generouslyprovidedthroughdonations Thefundsforthedistrict'scontributionwillbesourcedfromthe saleofresidentiallotsinthevicinityofPopeFarmElementarySchool
Asingledonor,aMiddletonHighSchoolgraduate,haspledgedanastounding$5milliontothiseffort, markingthelargestgiftourdistricthaseverreceived Thissignificantcontributiondemonstratesthe powerofcommunityinvolvementandthelastingimpactofoureducationalprogramsonouralumni. Thedistrict'sinvestmentwillbeallocatedtoupgradingrestroomfacilities,ensuringtheymeetcode requirementsandcomplywiththeAmericanswithDisabilitiesAct(ADA) along-overdueproject.Asa resultofthisinvestment,theOttoBreitenbachFootballStadiumComplexwillundergoaremarkable transformation,becomingastate-of-the-artfacilitythatwillservenotonlyourstudentsbutalsothe greatercommunity.
Byhostingregional,sectional,andstatewidecompetitionsandevents,theupgradedstadiumcomplex willattractsignificantbusinesstoourcommunity,furtherbolsteringourlocaleconomy.Itisimportantto notethatwhileotherdistrictsintheareahavereliedonreferendumfundingfortheirstadiums,MCPASD isnotusinganyreferendumfundsforthisproject.
