Woodland Volunteer Bureau Food Closet

The Woodland Food Closet provides a basic, direct service. Our clients are individuals, families, seniors, children and infants. The Woodland Food Closet is the only agency in Woodland to provide food distribution on a daily basis, Monday through Friday.

Yolo Land Trust has one simple & vital mission: to conserve farmland in Yolo County. We have partnered with over 40 family farmers who agreed to keep their farms in farming forever. Now, more than 12,000 acres in Yolo County will always grow food.

Purple Tree Café

Our mission is to provide community-based employment for people with disabilities and to promote an inclusive community of people with and without disabilities. We provide employment in baking and selling vegan treats; we promote community through music, art, and community events.

Yolo County Children’s Alliance helps families, particularly non-English speaking families, access services, learn valuable parenting skills, and find support. We do this through family strengthening programs which focus on the following areas: family support, education, and community collaboration and advocacy.

Mental Health & Crisis Intervention

All Things Right and Relevant

We provide employment development opportunities for Yolo County mental health clients and supplemental funding for nonprofit agencies serving the mental health needs of Yolo County when possible. As a secondary mission, we provide a resource to reduce carbon emissions and waste by reusing, repurposing and recycling through local second-hand shopping.

NAMI Yolo County

NAMI Yolo County provides advocacy, support, education, and public awareness so that all individuals and families who are affected by mental health conditions can build better lives.
