Senator Bill Dodd

Democratic Senator Bill Dodd serves California’s District 3, which encompasses cities in Yolo, Napa, Contra Costa, Solano, Sonoma and Sacra mento Counties. He and his family current ly live in Napa County.

Garamendi

Democratic Congressman John Garamendi also represents California’s third dis trict. He began his career in public office when he was elected to the California State Assembly in 1974.

Garamendi has three offices in District 3 and one in Washington D.C. When he’s in Washing ton, he can be reached at 202-225-1880. To reach him a little clos er to home, go to his downtown Davis of fice, located at 412 G. St. The phone number for his Davis office is 530-753-5301.

“Winters’ own” Cecilia Aguiar-Curry is the democratic Assemblymember for District 4. Winters is her hometown, and she has served the city as a member of the planning commission, the city council and was Winters’ first female mayor. She currently lives in Winters, just a few blocks away from her childhood home.

Yolo County Supervisor Don Saylor

Don Saylor is the Yolo County Supervisor for District 2, which includes Winters and the western side of Davis.

Winters City Council

The Winters City Council consists of five members serving staggered four-year terms. The mayor is the candidate who received the most votes. The City Council meets every first and third Tuesdays of each month at the City Hall. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m.

Agendas are posted online at cityofwinters.org and outside of City Hall at 5 p.m. on the Friday before the meeting. You can also email City Clerk Tracy Jensen at tracy. jensen@cityofwinters. org and request an agenda.

The City Council welcomes people to make public comments by writing a letter to the City Council, the City Manager or the relevant City department and mailing it to City Hall at 318 First St. People are also invited to make public comments on items listed on the agenda.
