‘Person of interest’ sought in graffiti probe

A recent rash of graffiti crimes targeting property throughout the downtown area and along Covell Boulevard have Davis police seeking a “person of interest” who might have information.

Police released a photo of the man, who appears to be in his 20s or 30s with facial hair and wearing dark clothing, captured on a security camera in the breezeway behind 101 F St.

“This individual is not a suspect at this time and is only wanted for questioning,” police said in a crime alert.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to contact the police at 530-747-5400 or policeweb@cityofdavis. org. Callers may remain anonymous.
