Vandalism drives railroad volunteers to fence up Eric Jaramishian Staff writer An uptick in vandalism at the El Dorado Western Railroad depot on Oriental Street in El Dorado has prompted volunteers to increase security, including adding a chain link fence to protect the historical gang cars and engine. Vice president of the nonprofit El Dorado Western Railway Foundation and 30-year volunteer railroad Edward Cunha, 66, said vandals have smashed nearly 20 windows on railroad equipment in the past 12 months.
