As I sat in at various calf sales this past fall, it was very obvious that when it comes to selling you calves that POUNDS PAY and there is a definite CHAROLAIS ADVANTAGE in the sales ring! The combination of heavy weaning weights combined with the premiums paid for Char-cross calves saw many producers maximize the returns they received for their 2018 calf crop. This sale offering is filled with breed leading genetics focused on PERFORMANCE! In addition, we pay special attention to calving ease, disposition and maternal cow power. Our cowherds have been carefully selected, bred, culled and refined to provide the bulls that we have in this sale. Two years ago, CML Gusto 662D was the high selling bull in our bull sale selling for $40,000 to White Lake Colony. We have been a believer in Gusto from day one and used him heavily in our breeding program. Gusto's first calf crop is the highlight sire group in this years sale with 10 sons on offer. The Gusto sons have tremendous performance, tons of hair and they were born easy with a short gestation.

We had a slight delay in getting the semen to Canada but when it arrived we still did a flush to get a couple of calves even though we knew they would be the youngest in the sale. Absolute is a true herd bull. His dam has produced numerous purebred herd sires including Encore, Diablo, Copyright, Heisman, Exacta and Touchdown.
