BUILDING FINISHES

Buildingfinishesandinitialspaceplans wereprovidedbyHOK.Furniturefinishes werefinalizedafterasinglefinishmeeting with the end user and the owner’s representativefromTheBuildingPeople.

Each workstation was altered after the bidawardtorefinepanelheights,storage components,anddesktopaccessories.Final typicalswerereachedafterthethridround ofrevisions.Furniturerenderingswere providedforclientsign-off.

CISelectworkedwithKnoll’srendering teams to illustrate the coordination of buildingfinishesandfurniturefinish selections.Theserenderingrequireda3D modeltobeexportedfromourfurniture programCETintoAutoCADandan accompanyingfinishschedule.

INSTALLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ThefurnitureforUSDAwasinstalledinfourphasesthatcorrespondedwitheachfloor includedinthescope.Furniturewasdividedintoseperatepurchaseorderstokeep shipmentsorganizedasitwasrecievedatourwarehouse.

Installationdrawingswereusedtocommunicateelectricalin-feedlocations,panel elevationsandpanelrunplacement.Thedataandpowerneedsintheconferenceand huddle areas were coordinated with USDA’s insternal IT team.

Ancillaryitemswereselectedandorderedaftertheworkstationsandprivateoffices, butstillinstalledinsyncwiththeotheritemsontheirrespectivefloors.

TEST BAR & BREAKROOM

Immediately off the elevator is a test kitchen stocked with specialty appliances and wet bars. There are four bookable work zones where members can experiment with infusions, foams, garnishes, etc.

Alongside the main bar is a group of community tables where guests can meet and enjoy spontaneous conversation.

PRIVATE DINING/CONFERENCE

A large room sits on the far south wall with a retractable screen for creating two spaces when needed. The area is rentable as conference space or can be booked for private dinner parties.
