The Joint Engineering Program, offered in partnership from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and Washington University in St. Louis, is an affordable and convenient engineering education option designed for busy students in the region. The program offers full- and part-time students an opportunity to earn a bachelor of science in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering. You’ll complete two years of study on the UMSL campus, taking mathematics, science and general education courses, before transitioning to the WashU campus to complete the upper-level engineering courses. Students pay UMSL tuition while having access to WashU’s cutting-edge resources and facilities. Once you graduate with your degree from UMSL, you’ll join thousands of alumni in the region at companies including Boeing, Clayco and Anheuser-Busch InBev.

You’ll also benefit from free tutoring for all science, mathematics and engineering courses. Financial aid is available to assist with overcoming financial barriers and staying on track for degree completion. As a Joint Engineering student, you’ll have access to both UMSL’s Career Services and WashU’s Career Center. Both universities hold annual job fairs that provide students opportunities to meet with employers from across the country to discuss co-ops, internships and employment.
