RESEARCH GUIDE UPDATES & NEW DATABASES McKee Library offers research guides, reading lists, and new databases to assist researchers.
McKee Library has added research guides and databases to further assist our learning community. Research Topic Guides The library now offers 47 research topic guides on a variety of research areas ranging from African American Studies to World Religions. These guides provide an excellent starting place for new researchers. Each guide provides direct links to background information available in Credo Reference on subtopics and links to scholarly research in McKee Library databases. How do I? Research Guides For any researcher struggling with a specific topic, McKee Library now offers a series of research guides called “How do I?”. These guides provide assistance in navigating the research process, including topics such as citations and academic integrity, evaluating resources, fake news, Mendeley, and getting started with research. Reading Lists At the request of the Student Association, McKee Library created a series of digital reading lists. These lists are available on a variety of topics and feature recommended books. Current lists include Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Award Winning Titles, Biblical Foundations of Faith and Learning, Black History Month, Faculty & Staff Recommendations, and Seventh-day Adventist Pioneers. If you would like to request a specific reading list for your course or a topic of interest, please contact Jessica Spears at jspears@southern.edu.
