Open Education Resources Stipend
McKee Library proudly supports the use of open educational resources (OER) in higher learning. To encourage the adoption of OER on campus, the library is offering a $250 stipend per year for two Southern Adventist University professors willing to transition one of their courses from utilizing traditional textbook resources to OER.
Applications are due online by May 15, 2024. Please contact Deyse Bravo with questions regarding the stipend or the use of OER.

Explore Streaming Media & More
At McKee Library, you can access numerous popular academic streaming media databases, some of which allow video embedding in eClass. These databases consist of Kanopy, Films on Demand, Sage Video, Academic Video Online, and Feature Films for Education.
Moreover, McKee Library offers films in its physical media collection. You can explore the collection categorized by genre in our catalog.
We invite you to discover our growing range of streaming media databases and our physical collection in our catalog. For any inquiries or media requests, please reach out to Stan Cottrell.
McKee Library is delighted to provide two virtual reality headsets for the campus community. These headsets offer an engaging educational gaming experience.
The headsets include games such as Beat Saber, YouTube VR, Mission: ISS, Adam Savage’s Tested VR, and First Steps for Quest 2.
Available for a one-week check-out period, these headsets are ideal for individuals keen on exploring VR and incorporating technology into their learning.
