SUMMER LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION & BOOK REQUESTS Construction will begin at McKee Library on May 6; however, many resources will remain available to the campus community. McKee Library will undergo several updates this summer. Plant Services will give the library an electrical upgrade as well as new ceiling tiles and LED light fixtures on the second floor. Library Closure McKee Library will be closed the week of May 6 through 10 for asbestos abatement. During this week, the librarians will be available via chat, email, and phone. Virtual research coaching appointments will be available for students. Virtual tutoring appointments will be available with the Writing Center. The Tutoring Center will be closed during this week. Continued Construction Following the abatement, the second floor will remain closed to library visitors

as the ceiling panels and electrical components are upgraded. The main floor of the library, including the Writing Center and the Tutoring Center, will be open during this time.

IBISWorld
IBISWorld is the gold standard for locating information about a particular industry, which is great if you are starting a business or researching an industry for a class. Each industry report includes information about the industry at a glance, performance, outlook, products & markets, competitive landscape, major companies, operating conditions, and key statistics. An overview of each industry includes information on the supply chain, key economic drivers, supply industries, demand industries, related industries, and related international reports. Also included for each industry are major players, the main activities
of the industry, similar industries, industry jargon, a glossary, and additional resources. The industry at a glance tab provides a statistical snapshot, the industry structure, and an executive summary. The industry performance tab includes key external drivers, current performance, and historical revenue growth. The industry outlook tab provides information on future productivity, revenue, the industry life cycle, and key considerations. The product and markets tab provides information on the supply chain—key buying and selling industries— products and services, demand determinants, major markets, international trade,

From VauLt Photograph of Mark Twain is on display on McKee Library’s main floor.
About the Item A framed photograph featuring Mark Twain in front of his boyhood home in Hannibal, MO, is on permanent display on the library’s main floor. This photograph was taken by H. Tomlinson in 1902. The work also features the author’s autograph. About the Collection The Duane and Eunice Bietz Collection houses books by and about Mark Twain. Included in the collection are several rare first editions, signed copies, periodicals, memorabilia, and authentic letters written by Mark Twain. The collection was donated to McKee Library by Duane and Eunice Bietz in 2009.

Call for Artists
McKee Library features multiple artists throughout the academic year. We accept most mediums and themes as long as the works follow university guidelines. Students are encouraged to exhibit their works, so please share this information widely.
