After 21 years of service at McKee Library, Carol Harrison is retiring. Carol has been the welcoming face of McKee Library for over two decades and will be greatly missed by the library team,
New Circulation Manager The library team is excited to welcome Mica Myers as McKee Library’s circulation manager beginning May 23. Mica Myers graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2019 with a Bachelors in Music Education. Since graduation, Mica has worked
as a teacher in Michigan, Georgia, and Tennessee. She is excited to re-join the McKee Library team after working at the library while pursuing her undergraduate degree. During her free time, Mica likes to be outdoors, FaceTime her nieces, spend time with her cats, and play trombone in community ensembles. McKee Library will be open throughout the summer McKee Library will transition to our summer hours of operation beginning Monday, May 9, 2022. May 9 through July 17 Sunday 2 pm - 6 pm Monday - Thursday 9 am - 6 pm Friday 9 am - 12 pm July 18 through Aug 18 Sunday 2 pm - 9 pm Monday - Thursday 9 am - 9 pm Friday 9 am - 12 pm
Writing Center The Writing Center will be open throughout the summer for in person and online appointments. Monday - Thursday 2 pm - 5 pm Friday 9 am - 12 pm Tutoring Center The Tutoring Center will offer online tutoring appointments throughout the summer. The Tutoring Center office will be closed May 9 through July 31. Library Instruction To request library instruction for your summer courses, please contact Bethany Howard at bfhoward@southern.edu.
Sessions can take place in person or via Zoom. Embedded Librarian The embedded librarians are ready to collaborate with you and your students throughout the summer.
