CAMPUS RESEARCH DAY
Proposals are due February 14, 2022 The deadline to submit a proposal for Campus Research Day is Monday, February 14, 2022. Papers must be submitted to Knowledge Exchange by April 1, 2022. Scholarship Competition All students participating in the research competition must have departmental recommendation to enter the competition and present. Each department may recommend up to three students to enter the competition, and nominations must be ranked by the department.
The Campus Research Day committee will further refine competition participants as needed by selecting finalists to compete for the scholarships. Non-Competing Presentations All students who wish to present during Campus Research Day but not to compete for the scholarships are welcome to submit a presentation proposal for inclusion in the program. All such students who get professor approval will be included in the program, provided they register by the deadline, February 14, 2022.
Poster Session The poster session will be held from 2 - 3:15 p.m. in Iles Gymnasium. A poster session competition will take place for those who would like to compete. Registration for the poster session is due by February 14, 2022. Postersmith will be supporting Campus Research Day 2022 again this year by offering FREE professional fabric poster printing (including FREE shipping and handling) for those who are able to get their posters in by the Postersmith deadline, March 20, 2022.

Black History Month is an annual celebration of African Americans and their achievements throughout United States History. Display McKee Library has a display of works by and about African Americans on the main floor, including a display on Martin Luther King, Jr. Racial Justice Films McKee Library has a large collection of relevant streaming films on the topic of racial justice.

Tools&Resources Access World News
Access World News includes current and archived news content from more than 12,700 sources, with global coverage in over 200 countries and territories: Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Central America, Europe, Middle East, South America, United Kingdom and Ireland, and the United States and Canada. With an unprecedented combination of global, regional and local news, including a unique merging of news formats (full-text articles, web-only content, PDF image editions),
this resource supports a diverse range of research needs across an array of academic disciplines for students and faculty. The database provides the option to access new sources directly through an A-Z Source List or by keyword, name, event, and topic. There is a list of Quick Links, including the Chattanooga Times Free Press, with full-text articles going back to 1995. Each user can create a folder to save articles, searches, and
alerts. Alerts can be created that will push news articles to you based on criteria you specify. Other tools include text enlargement, the ability to export citations directly to RefWorks, print and download articles, drop articles into your folder, and share articles via email or links that can be embedded into eClass.
