CAMPUS RESEARCH DAY CELEBRATE THIS APRIL

You are invited to attend events on April 21, 2022

Celebrate Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Campus Research Day is April 21, 2022. We encourage you to attend a session to support our student and faculty presenters. The full schedule will be available on Knowledge Exchange in the coming days.

While May is officially Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month for the nation, our campus celebrates each April. We invite you to explore our display and virtual reading list.

Final Submissions & Modifications Deadline Final titles and papers must be submitted to Knowledge Exchange by April 1, 2022. After this date, the full schedule will be available on Knowledge Exchange. Oral Presentations The competing oral presentations will take place from 8 am to 9:15 am. The winners of the competition will present at Dean’s Luncheon at 12 pm. The non-competing morning session will take place from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. The non-competing afternoon session will take place from 3:30 pm to 4:15

pm. Poster Session The poster session will be held from 2 - 3:15 p.m. in Iles Gymnasium. A poster session competition will take place for those who are scheduled to compete. Convocation Convocation, presented by Dr. Kevin Burton, will be held from 11:00 am to 11:50 am at the Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists. The presentation is titled “Adventist Abolitionism in the 1830s and 1840s.”

Celebrate poetry month with McKee Library We are excited to celebrate National Poetry Month throughout the month of April. Create a Poem We invite the campus to stop by McKee Library to create a poem using provided magnet poetry words. We will feature select poems on the library’s social media.
