FEBRUARY AT THE LIBRARY

Campus Research Day proposals are due February 19, 2024. We realize titles and abstracts may still be in progress and need updating. All such changes must be finalized by March 18. The March 18 deadline is fixed, and no new submissions will be accepted after the deadline to avoid logistical issues. Please contact Bethany Howard with questions regarding the event.

NEW & NOTEWORTHY

John Fleming Gould Collection on Exhibit McKee Library will exhibit the John Fleming Gould Collection from February 12 through May 2024. The collection on display at McKee Library is a retrospective display of the legacy art of John Fleming Gould (1906 - 1996). Gould had a long and prolific career as an artist/illustrator. Visitors and students will glimpse the early Pratt Institute student work and pulp illustrations of the 1930's. Saturday Evening Post and Redbook magazine work is also featured. Learn more using the QR code or visiting johngouldart.com.

Collaborative Floor Guidelines To ensure a quality study environment for all McKee Library visitors, we are enforcing several guidelines regarding the usage of the collaborative floor. While you can work collaboratively on the main floor, conversations should not disrupt those around you. Key points include:

No shared meals or food deliveries. Individual meals in covered containers are allowed. Furniture cannot be moved, and tables are limited to four people. The library is a place of study. Social gatherings should take place elsewhere on campus. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Deyse Bravo with any questions regarding these guidelines. FEBRUARY 2024
