Campus Research Day Details
Did you know that you can earn enrichment credit by attending an oral presentation session at Campus Research Day? This one-day event will take place on April 18, 2024, and will include three competing sessions at 8 am followed by non-competing sessions. A poster session will also be held from 2 pm to 3:15 pm in the Collegedale Seventh-Day Adventist Church Fellowship Hall.

Writing Tutors Provide Individualized Support
Attention all Southern Adventist University students! If you need any assistance with your writing, we have got you covered! The Writing Center, located on the third floor of McKee Library, has a team of friendly and passionate writing tutors who are eagerly waiting to help you excel in your assignments. Tutors are here to help you improve your writing skills across all academic disciplines.
In addition to our tutoring services, we offer recommended resources on topics including citation styles, language and grammar, and the writing process on our website at southern.edu/writingcenter.
Although walk-ins are welcome, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure availability. You can schedule an appointment at trac.e.southern.edu.

McKee Library offers physical and online access to hundreds of newspapers. Explore our Access World News (NewsBank) database for a comprehensive collection of global news sources.
McKee Library’s collection includes:
Chattanooga Times Free Press: Available in print at McKee Library and digitally in NewsBank.
New York Times: Digital access is free for students, faculty, and staff, but you must complete a one-time registration here.
USA Today: Available in print at McKee Library and digitally in NewsBank. Wall Street Journal: Available in print at the library or digitally. To view online, you must complete a one-time registration here.
