Hello everyone!! Thank you so much for checking out my FIRST EVER newsletter! I hope that you all have been having a great summer break filled with rest, fun, and of course, service. I hope that this newsletter and its calendar will help you figure out what events you'll be filling your calendar with. Hello MCHSKC!! We survived another year of school wooo! I am so proud of each and every one of you. Although we are Wishing you a PAWsome summer, going into summer that does not mean Britney Le ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔ service and fun events are ending. There will be multiple service opportunities and possible summer events so bee sure to look out for them. Take advantage of your summertime to relax and most of all to have fun! See you all soon. UPDATES stockton kiwanis Our Stockton Kiwanis club has elected their President, Mr. Adam Moskowitz. They are continuing their 12PM Tuesday Meetings at Whirlows. Recently, they hosted the Pixie Woods Service Event.
division 27 north Our DLT has just been chosen by LTG Jamie Lynn Phan. Bee sure to give them a warm welcome as they lead our division to success. Also, many service opportunities have been posted!
region 16 The LTGs of our Region have made a Region-wide bonding Discord! Join it through the link discord.gg/4pS7kUXGyg. In addition, our LTG's have attended SBTC towards the end of May.

"the end of the year mchskc banquet was very well put together and it was even better because i had my friends there with me. we decorated our paper bags in the goofiest ways and had fun the entire time. i personally enjoyed the videos and how they made everyone emotional. the speeches that were made were so touching and i feel like this club is a great one to be in. everyone is so well knit together and it was truly an honor to be a part of it for the 2021-2022 year!"

"hi everyone! my name is jennifer pham and i am your treasurer. at the san joaquin county fair, a service opportunity presented by cesar chavez kc, i volunteered with Kiara Flores. we were given buckets and trash grabbers to clean up the area. Kiara and I first explored the place to see what areas needed the most cleaning. we made multiple trips to clean up the eating area as it was the most dirtiest. overall, this event was such a laidback service opportunity and we received a free ticket for cleaning up the area! "

LODI PRIDE FESTIVAL 2022 06/04/22

"The Lodi Pride Festival was held at High Water Brewing, specifically in Lodi, on June 4th from 10-5PM, with 2 shifts at 10-1:30PM and 1:30-5PM. At the event, attendees were greeted with greetings, all smiles, and warm appreciation. Funny enough, the event had many hands as is from all the various booths participating in the festival, and therefore there was not much service left to do. While this may be unfortunate from purely a service standpoint, the attendees, including myself, were happy to hear that all aspects of the event had been covered and completed in order to have an optimal experience at the event for people entering the festival. The only tasks that people really needed help with was setting up and moving around a canopy onto the stage to cover performances and performed from the sun and rain, as well as cleaning up the event. All in all, what a wonderful and PRIDEFUL experience the service event and festival was!"
