McGrath China Desk The McGrath China Desk was introduced to service the fast growing group of Asian buyers looking to invest in Australian property. The China Desk provides various services to all Chinese buyers including basic translation of property information, explanation of property types, areas and the buying process as well as connecting these buyers with a range of Chinese speaking services that will facilitate their acquisition. We also now publish a Chinese language edition of our magazine, The McGrath Magazine, which gives all our client’s the opportunity to showcase their listings to the vast audience of non-english speaking Chinese buyers. The Chinese edition is printed every three weeks with an automatic liftover from the English version and is distributed to targeted businesses such as Chinese banks, accountants, lawyers and select newsagents. The China Desk is headed by Davey Hong, a fluent Mandarin speaker who has worked in real estate for more than six years. Davey provides assistance to Chinese clients in locating properties that match their requirements and works alongside the existing network of McGrath agents, many Chinese speaking, who have established close links with Chinese buying groups and individuals. The China Desk also provides tailored assistance to Chinese vendors to ensure they are equally comfortable in the selling process.
