2015 was a magnificent year for Sydney Real Estate, with house prices up 11.5%, slightly down from 13.4% in 2014. Locally, home values rose by 19% in Gladesville, 26% in Putney and 22% in Tennyson Point.* My team and I were proud to have sold over $99 million dollars’ worth of local property in 2015, with an average sale price of just over $2 million dollars, up from 2014.* Again your local McGrath team maintained its ranking as one of the most productive offices in the entire McGrath Network. During 2015 we were responsible for 295 local sales worth almost $560 million dollars. The average sale price for the office was just over $1.9 million dollars, also up from 2014.

Changes to NSW property legislation have come into force at the start of this year and aim to see better transparency in quoting to buyers. It is also important for sellers to understand the obligations during a sales campaign.
