INFORMATION TO STUDENTS/PARENTS
The John McGlashan Sports App is the place to look for sports draws and notices. This is a great way for connecting with the boys and community on a regular basis through mobile devices. Users are able to subscribe to specific alert groups to only receive alerts that are relevant to them. Alerts are setup as push notifications so even a locked phone will display the alert.
You can use the following site https://mcglashansports.apps.school.nz/portal/ , or Download SchoolAppsNZ from the App Store or Google play, load John McGlashan College and subscribe to the sports your son is interested in.
All boys need to check the notices daily, and ensure that they are keeping up to date with their school emails for information regarding sign ups, trials, practice and game times. We expect boys to be responsible and selfmanaging.
          STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT:
At John McGlashan College we are keen to the hear about the successes of our students. Please contact the Director of Sport Troy Jennings or Sports Co-Ordinator Tony Gomez about your sons sporting successes.
          Can You Help?
Throughout the year we will require coaches, managers, and helpers in the many sporting codes that we participate in. Positions could be for either mid-week or weekend teams.
Volunteers involved with overnight excursions will have to complete an online criminal record check. This information is held confidentially with the Principal.
If you could please fill in the following form for those able to assist in any way.
