This long par four is set up by the drive. Players must play far enough left to avoid the large oak trees that can inhibit the second shot on this hole, while avoiding the marsh to the left. Set upon the Atlantic, wind is always a factor here and while there are no bunkers guarding the green, marsh runs the entire left side making the swales right of the green a common place to play third shots.

Charity Initiatives Birdies For Love Now in its third year, RSM’s Birdies Fore Love program is a giving platform tied to the RSM Classic. Each year, RSM makes a difference for at-risk youth through Birdies Fore Love thanks to stellar participation from its partners, principals and employees, gifts from clients and friends of the firm, and a generous match provided by the RSM US Foundation. Through Birdies Fore Love, RSM offices commit to raising funds for a local charity that aligns with the missions of the RSM US Foundation and Davis Love Foundation. In 2015, the program more than doubled the prior year’s giving, raising almost $1.3 million for 65 charities in the local communities where RSM’s employees live and work. Friends of the Davis Love Foundation In the program’s first year, over $140,000 was raised for local charities established to help children and families in need. Participating charities raise money by selling raffle tickets for the chance to win a brand new car! 100% of raffle ticket sales are distributed back to participating charities. In addition, the Davis Love Foundation funds a $50,000 bonus pool divided among participating charities based upon the percentage of total money each charity raises.

Established in 2005 by professional golfer Davis Love, III, the Davis Love Foundation contributes to the well-being and progress of society by supporting both national and community-based programs that focus on children and their families. In 2010, the Davis Love Foundation partnered with the PGA TOUR to become the Host Organization of The RSM Classic. The inaugural event occurred in October 2010 and currently holds a title sponsor contract with RSM, the nation’s leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, through 2020. After five years, The RSM Classic has raised more than $4.8 million to support charities focused on children and families in need.
