To my friends and loyal customers, A fine wine might get better with age but other things don't. That's why we are completely gutting and renovating two of the three floors in our showroom. To make room for the contractors we are selling out over $4,000,000 of showroom sample furniture, mattresses, accessories & area rugs.

Everything down to the bare walls on these floors must be sold.

You must consider the style, texture and color of other pieces that are in the same room as the new sofa You must also consider what look you are trying to achieve for the room. Don’t Purchase a traditional masculine leather sofa when you want the feel of your room to be soft, contemporary and elegant.

CHOOSING A POOR QUALITY FABRIC • • •

Consider the different fabric types and what makes one more durable than another, depending on what you are using it for.

You must think of who is going to be using this sofa, pets? Kids?

Consider where the sofa will be positioned. Both cotton and leather can fade so if these are going in a sunny spot you need to choose something a little more fade resistant.

STORIES WE HAVE HEARD & EXPERIENCED SELLING LUXURY BEDS One question I’m often asked when people are looking at a Vispring bed is “How long will it last.” While there is no simple answer to this question I like to tell them the somewhat extreme story of one of my clients. This client grew up over in the UK where these beds are made and purchased a Vispring mattress themselves many years ago. She enjoyed the mattress for 25 years and then, when she moved, passed it on to her son who owned it for another 5 years before some of the fabric finally started to fray. That’s 30 years that this family owned and used this bed. Looking at this from an investment standpoint that would mean that their cost of ownership ranged from under $0.50 to a little over $2 per night, depending on which model they had. Even if you get half the life out of the bed that these people did you are only looking between 1-4 dollars per night for luxury sleep!
