To my friends and loyal customers, A fine wine might get better with age but other things don't. That's why we are completely gutting and renovating two of the three floors in our showroom. To make room for the contractors we are selling out over $4,000,000 of showroom sample furniture, mattresses, accessories & area rugs. Everything down to the bare walls on these floors must be sold. We have never had a larger or better selection than we do now and never have we been more motivated to move it out! There are nearly 3,000 items available for immediate liquidation from many of the brands that you have grown to love, including Theodore Alexander, Bernhardt, Sherrill, Hancock & Moore, Century, and many more! I can't wait to see you and look forward to showing you our new showroom once the renovations are complete. It's going to be new, fresh and beautiful when it's done. Sincerely,
Jeff McElheran PS. In additions to the massive markdowns on in-stock items we have made special arrangements with many of our suppliers to be able to extend additional savings to you on Made-for-You custom orders.

INTRODUCING PROFILE by :
Stretching the boundaries of rustic modern collections, Profile delivers on a casual rustic feel, but through the use of a unique mix of finishes and materials, it also delivers a glamour not always associated with this category. It all starts with figured walnut veneers in a low-sheen, Warm Taupe finish that feature crossfire, an unusual flash or mottling effect underneath the grain, and continues with Tapestry Gold finishes that offer hints of brilliance without ever feeling excessive. Profile’s contemporary sensibilities extend to accents like metal mesh, travertine, and gold paint, while overlapping, sculptural metal plates serve as minimalistic hardware. The collection is adept at finding harmony in disparate elements, whether it’s merging clean lines with subtle curves, or presenting a metal-and-wood two-tone effect on pieces. Gold painted parting rails, geometric shapes, and flange treatments on upholstery offer the final artful touches. From start to finish, Profile effortlessly delivers luxury, but in a smart, organic package that’s perfect for today. 4

A sofa is a major investment and one of the largest furniture pieces in your home. Your sofa should be relaxing and comfortable. This is where you spend majority of your time reading, watching tv, and entertaining. This is why the type of sofa you choose is very important. BUYING TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL • • • • •
It’s important to measure the space its going into. It’s important to make sure you can get the sofa through all doorways and hallways. Consider the sofa placement and how it effects traffic flow. Don’t forget about leaving room for end tables. Consider proportion in the room, does the sofa take up too much or not enough space.
BUYING WITHOUT SITTING IN IT • • •
When trying out a sofa in the store remember to try sitting in it the way you would at home. Do you want to lounge? Watch T.V.? or do you want a sofa for visiting with friends? Buying for its stylish look and for comfort. Sofas come in many different depths and heights. These two things will effect each body type differently, so it’s important to know what you need.
BUYING POOR QUALITY • •
It’s important to ask about the construction of the furniture and where it comes from. You generally want a sofa to last as long as possible. The first thing to wear out on a good quality sofa will be the fabric not the frame. When this happens you have lots of different options for reupholstering.
BUYING THE WRONG STYLE • •
You must consider the style, texture and color of other pieces that are in the same room as the new sofa You must also consider what look you are trying to achieve for the room. Don’t Purchase a traditional masculine leather sofa when you want the feel of your room to be soft, contemporary and elegant.
CHOOSING A POOR QUALITY FABRIC • • •
Consider the different fabric types and what makes one more durable than another, depending on what you are using it for. You must think of who is going to be using this sofa, pets? Kids? Consider where the sofa will be positioned. Both cotton and leather can fade so if these are going in a sunny spot you need to choose something a little more fade resistant.
This is why our design consultants at McElheran + design are here to help you make the best choice! 7

INTRODUCING CLARENDON by :
Steeped in English tradition but tempered with modernized touches, Clarendon is a neo-traditional furniture collection that offers sophisticated style without ever losing its casual appeal. Here refined forms are partnered with weightier pieces, and the result is a balanced collection that delivers a singular look to any living space. Clarendon’s uniqueness begins with its Arabica finish, as white oak veneers are wire-brushed to create a cerused effect that is complemented by additional spattering and cowtailing. With its cool undertones, the Burnished Brass finish found on metal accents and the many shapes and sizes of hardware, pairs effortlessly with antiqued mirror and Vienna Walnut topstitched bonded leather. Additional design details include wraparound parting rails, wide-spaced reeding, metal ferrules and cuffs, and bead molding in metal and wood. Ultimately, this collection presents pieces that are as fashionable as they are comfortable. That’s what makes Clarendon’s call so irresistible.

BEDS FOR SLEEP
A PERFECT NIGHT’S
IF A MATTRESS COULD TALK.
STORIES WE HAVE HEARD & EXPERIENCED SELLING LUXURY BEDS One question I’m often asked when people are looking at a Vispring bed is “How long will it last.” While there is no simple answer to this question I like to tell them the somewhat extreme story of one of my clients. This client grew up over in the UK where these beds are made and purchased a Vispring mattress themselves many years ago. She enjoyed the mattress for 25 years and then, when she moved, passed it on to her son who owned it for another 5 years before some of the fabric finally started to fray. That’s 30 years that this family owned and used this bed. Looking at this from an investment standpoint that would mean that their cost of ownership ranged from under $0.50 to a little over $2 per night, depending on which model they had. Even if you get half the life out of the bed that these people did you are only looking between 1-4 dollars per night for luxury sleep!
