SUNBRELLA FABRICS DESIGN + PERFORMANCE The season for outdoor furniture is finally upon us! There really is nothing better than relaxing on the patio with a cold drink and great company. Outdoor fabrics make most people think about colorful, loud, stiff fabric your grandma used for her patio furniture. Sunbrella is here to dispel all of those previous notions you had about outdoor fabrics. This company has revolutionized the use of outdoor fabric and is using it in ways you never even thought possible.

In 2002 Sunbrella began blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor upholstery. With their new found manufacturing abilities, they started using their tried and tested fabrics on indoor upholstery items. Sunbrella offered the feel and look of cotton but was much more durable and fade resistant.

Their secret was the acrylic fibers and pigmentation process. Their fabulous upholstery collections are not only exceptionally durable but are also stunning enough to be used for formal pieces of furniture to toss pillows, and curtains. Sunbrella fabrics are now offered through quite a few furniture vendors.

It’s practical on a day to day chair that is likely to have food or liquid spills as clean-up is a breeze and the fabric is water repellent. 2. Spray on a cleaning solution of water and mild soap.

3. Use a soft bristle brush to clean.

4. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.

5. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed.

6. Air dry.
