College of Business COST: The total coursework investment is $58,800, which includes meals while onsite. Travel and lodging are not included. Payments are made in five installments of $11,760, due at the beginning of each semester. SCHEDULE: To accommodate air travel, classes meet roughly every third week, except December, January and February. Hotel accommodations can be obtained at university rates in close proximity to campus. Cohort groups are admitted and classes are lock-stepped. Course completion takes 27 months, and Green Belt, Black Belt, and/or PMI certification may add additional time, depending on the nature of the project. Attendees should commit approximately 15 hours a week outside of class. CLASS SIZE: 50 maximum
INSTRUCTORS: Each class is taught by academicians, with workshops conducted by practitioners with performance excellence experience. Each academician is certified by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). STUDENTS: Admission requires a sponsorship by a partnering organization. Junior-level executives targeted for long-term advancement are considered to be the ideal population for the program. Ideally, a minimum of five years management experience is needed to appreciate the concepts in the coursework. PRE-REQUISITES: No “leveling” or other coursework is required. The program is intensive, and any deficiencies in background will be closed during the program with assistance of program directors.

The Master of Performance Excellence degree program is offered on an invitation-only basis to executives from top-performing organizations. The program’s candidates display a level of potential that suggests their ability to reach the top echelons of management performance. The program is based on the Baldrige model, which focuses on helping organizations assess their improvement efforts, diagnose their overall performance management system, and identify their strengths and opportunities for improvement.
