SESSION LEADERS Cindy Todd advises the El Paisano yearbook and teaches photojournalism at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. Her students’ publications have earned top awards from ILPC, CSPA and NSPA. The 2012 Yearbook Adviser of the Year, Todd has also received the NSPA Pioneer, JEA Medal of Merit, CSPA Gold Key, TAJE Trailblazer, ILPC Edith Fox King and Max R. Haddick Texas Teacher of the Year awards. More importantly, she loves advising high school publications and teaching workshops around the country.

Sarah Cole is a photographervideographer for The Huntsville Times. She earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from The University of Alabama and has worked as a reporter and photographer for various organizations and papers across Alabama.

Alicia K. Clavell is founder, editor and publisher of Southern Women’s Review, an online and limitededition print journal. Clavell has been writing about life and style in the South for over a decade in the pages of Southern Living or in her book by Rockport/Quarry press, “Southern Kitchens and Dining Spaces.” She is also a former Hackney Literary Award winner and a two-time winner of the University of Alabama at Birmingham BarkesdaleMaynard Poetry Prize. Clavell is currently an instructor and freelance writer/consultant for magazines and online venues.
