Behavioral Health Substance Abuse Counseling Center

The Substance Abuse Counseling Center provides screening, assessment, prevention, early intervention, and counseling services. We have counselors located at Camp Foster Bldg. 440, Camp Hansen Bldg. 2631 and provide services at Camp Schwab Bldg. 3429, by appointment. Alcohol Awareness Month Alcohol Awareness Month allows members in the community to reflect on their drinking behaviors and the role alcohol plays in our community and in our lives. Alcohol misuse can lead to significant health, personal, financial, and occupational problems, resulting in the loss of things that are most valuable to us. The goal is not only to raise awareness of harmful drinking patterns but also to educate on low-risk options for all in our community and to dispel the stigma and myths that prevent someone from asking for help. SACC coordinated events are as follows:

Unit Rodeo Unit discussion with the SACC staff and your SACO in your workspace on topics related to responsible drinking, stigma associated with getting help, and resources available for your Marines.
