The New South Wales (NSW) Parliament recently hosted patrons of the India Australia Business & Community Alliance (IABCA) during the IABCA Immersion Week, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties.

NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey MLC and Premier Chris Minns MP welcomed the delegation as they launched the Summer of Cricket and the IABCA Program.

The event underscored the NSW Government’s ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration between India and Australia across business, trade, and cultural sectors.

In a Facebook post, IABCA wrote:

“We are profoundly grateful to Minister Piyush Goyal, India's Minister of Commerce and Industry, for joining the recent IABCA Alumni & Emerging Leaders Business Dialogue in Sydney, thanks to the support of the Indian High Commission in Australia. The Minister's visionary insights and unwavering commitment to strengthening India-Australia trade ties were a highlight of the event, inspiring a brighter future for bilateral collaboration.”

Through initiatives like IABCA, Australia and India continue to deepen their partnership, paving the way for greater economic and community engagement.
