Australia & India strengthen educational ties through hgh-level discussions

A Networking Dinner held on January 17 at the Australian High Commission in New Delhi brought together influential stakeholders from India and Australia to explore opportunities for collaboration in education and innovation. The dinner was hosted by Dr. Monica Kennedy, Minister-Commercial and Head of Austrade, South Asia, and attended by Australian High Commissioner Philip Green OAM. Among the attendees was Dr. Marjorie O’Neill MP from New South Wales, reflecting the highlevel commitment to fostering partnerships.


The following day, the Chairman of Assocham’s National Education Council addressed the Australian delegation, emphasizing potential collaborations in research, skill development, student mobility, vocational education, and sustainability. These discussions, facilitated by Austrade and Assocham, aimed to deepen the strategic educational ties between the two nations.


The engagements underscored the shared commitment of Australia and India to advancing global education standards and fostering impactful, long-term partnerships.
