CLUB NEWS

We're looking forward to a fantastic summer at the pool, on the courts, and on the courses Swim team registration and summer camps are filling up quickly, exciting new events and activities are on the calendar, and the Sports Club has seen significant improvements over the winter and spring months.

The slide pool received a major renovation including resurfacing and painting the pool, new tile work and new coping The slide has been repainted The old water feature has been removed We are working on a temporary and long -term plan for the replacement of the old feature. More details to follow. Additional drainage on the pool deck was also added

The Breaker Bar and Grille at the pool received a bit of a make-over with a new bar, a new four beer kegerator, a new merchandiser and more storage. Additionally, new bar stools and new flooring were added. Lastly, we have added an accordion door system leading from the inside room to the pool deck This will help us provide the membership with a better entertaining opportunity while we are hosting events and camps.

FITNESS

ANOTEFROMHEATHER

Hello friends! Every year I talk about how much I love this time of year, the outdoors, the animals, the flowers, and water sports. But I am going to jump right to the subject. I would like to introduce a muscle especially for those who enjoy tennis and golf, the Tibialis Anterior

As we age, maintaining muscle strength becomes crucial, especially in areas that affect balance and stability such as the ankle joint muscles. The Tibialis Anterior muscle, located along the front of your lower leg, plays a significant role in dorsiflexion (which is the action of lifting the foot towards the shin) and plays a crucial role in supporting the arch of the foot This is especially important for gait stability, and overall foot mobility Strengthening this muscle can help prevent falls, reduce pain associated with arthritis and tendonitis, alleviate shin splint pain, and aid in the prevention of medial tibial stress syndrome, commonly known as shin splints
