Please Welcome Our Newest Members

Dear Members,

Exciting Things Are Happening at Treyburn Country Club!

The future has never looked brighter for Treyburn! We’re thrilled to welcome our new Membership Services & Communications Specialist, Kristen Burgess, to the team. Please be sure to stop by, say hello, and get to know her warm and welcoming personality the next time you walk through our front doors

We’re also making major capital improvements at the Tennis Center! Construction is underway on four brand-new, dedicated pickleball courts and an all-new tennis shop, which is scheduled for completion in mid-June. The tennis shop will feature bathrooms and a viewing area overlooking the courts, providing a great spot to relax and watch the action. We'll be celebrating with a Grand Opening Party this summer, so please stay tuned for more details

As part of these exciting upgrades, please note that initiation fees will increase on July 1, 2025 If you have friends, neighbors, or colleagues who’ve shown interest in pickleball or the club, now is a great time to invite them to join before the increase.

Thank you for your continued support in making Treyburn Country Club what it is today. As always, if there’s anything we can assist you with, don’t hesitate to reach out!

TREYBURN GOLF NEWS

Dear Treyburn Members,

The season is in full swing. The greens have healed nicely following our March aerification. Mark Snell and his team have the course conditions in tip-top shape for our May & June events. French drains have been added to some much-needed areas on holes 1, 7 & 8 The areas where trees have been removed around the clubhouse have been resodded with zoysia grass These areas are highlighted by the newly added uplighting, which has been installed around the clubhouse Mark and his team are enjoying newly leased equipment for the majority of what they use to take care of our amazing golf course. Take a look next time you see them out on the course!

Please remember to fill divots, fix any ball marks, rake the bunkers after use & dispose of any cigarette butts in the garbage (not on the course!), as these all go a long way in making the golfing experience better for all of those playing around you

The TLGA Ladies Member-Guest was held on April 25th & 26th This event was a huge success with a full field of 80 ladies! Teams competed in an Eclectic Two-Best Ball format over the course of two rounds Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to all who played!

May and June are filled with member golf events. Some of the major events include the Ladies’ Member-Member, the Men’s One-Day Member-Guest, the Men’s & Super Senior Club Championships, & the Men’s Member-Member. Also, with the Men’s Member-Guest in October becoming more popular each year, we will have registration run from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Monday, June 2nd. If we have over 60 teams register for the event, we will be hosting a lottery at 5:00pm that same evening Please be on the lookout for additional details

Summer for our Junior Program means Junior Golf Camp! Kids enjoy four days of instruction, games, snacks, and pool time! This is a great way for our junior stars to get introduced to the game of golf, meet other kids who are members of the Treyburn Family, and have a blast while on summer vacation. The next camp begins on June 10th-13th and runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm with the option to add the afternoon session, which continues until 3:00pm. We would love to see your junior there! You may register on the main calendar.

The professional golf staff is excited to host a long list of great events coming up! There are different events for players of every skill level I have listed the upcoming events below

The Treyburn professional staff is here to make your experience more memorable. Please let us know if you need anything to improve your rounds with us!

Thank you for your continued support of the Treyburn Golf Operation

The Well Gardened Mind

Join us for lunch and engaging discussion!

"A distinguished psychiatrist and avid gardener explore the restorative power of tending the earth in this inspiring meditation on nature and mental health."

The Well-Gardened Mind offers a compelling look into how gardening nurtures not only plants, but also the human spirit. Drawing on her work as a psychotherapist, Sue Stuart-Smith blends history, neuroscience, and deeply personal stories from veterans of war to inmates at Rikers Island to reveal how reconnecting with nature can ground us, heal us, and help us flourish

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or simply someone who finds peace in green spaces, this month's book promises a thoughtful and uplifting discussion on growth, resilience, and the cycles of life.
