FROM THE GRAND OPENING THE MANAGER
Phase 1 of our renovation project is officially complete! On September 2, we proudly reopened the Stockholder Course, marking a major milestone in the transformation of Raleigh Golf Association These nine holes will eventually merge with nine holes from the main course, creating a refreshed 18hole layout that blends tradition with a new vision for public golf in the Triangle.
Construction will continue in Spring 2026, with work focused on a brand-new driving range and improvements to the remaining nine holes of the main course With each phase, we’re building on RGA’s legacy while enhancing the golf experience for current and future generations.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the RGA staff, the RGA board, John McConnell, and our previous leadership for their guidance. The course is beautiful, and I look forward to next year when all 18 holes will be completed. Thank you to everyone who attended the ribbon ceremony

DAVE RANDLE SPOTLIGHT
Born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1956, Dave jokes that his “decade plan” was to rack up degrees in Nebraska and Iowa. He moved to North Carolina in the early 1980s and, in 1985, married a wonderful North Carolinian They have two children, Jennifer and Josh; Jennifer and her husband Mike are grandparents to Parker (7) and Reagan (4). Josh is married to Pascha. They purchased their current home to be closer to the granddaughters. On the golf course, Dave enjoys playing with the other senior golfers from the senior tees. He doesn’t take himself or his golf game too seriously; he’s just happy to be there. He calls himself a 50/50 golfer at times. If he forgets a name, he’ll invite you to introduce yourself he loves to play.
