Time for campers to roll up their sleeves and get busy in the kitchen Each day, campers will learn how to improve their kitchen skills, while preparing delicious meals and treats with the RCC culinary team By the end of the week campers will be filled with tasty creations and boosted confidence in the kitchen. Calling all explorers! Join us for an exciting week of learning, teamwork, and creativity. Campers will be able to perform handson experiments, express creativity through arts and crafts, and put on their thinking caps with various challenges throughout the week. BEST OF SUMMER CAMP

We are finishing out the summer with all our summer favorites! Each day will be filled with all the things that make summer the best time of the year Campers will be able to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, create and enjoy summer treats, and so much more. OLYMPIC MOMENTS AT THE POOL: MEET & GREET WITH TEAM USA SWIMMERS

STINGRAYS MEET & GREET

On Thursday, May 22, the Stingrays hosted a special Meet and Greet event at the pool, featuring two of Team USA’s elite swimmers and Olympic medalists Attendees had the opportunity to meet Katherine Berkoff, the 2025 Olympic Gold Medalist in the 400m Medley Relay and Bronze Medalist in the 100m Backstroke, who competed collegiately at NC State University, and Rhyan White, the 2021 Olympic Silver Medalist in the 400m Medley Relay, who swam for the University of Alabama. Fans enjoyed hearing their inspiring stories, getting autographs, and taking photos with two of America’s top backstrokers

The 2025 golf season is off to an outstanding start at Raleigh Country Club, highlighted by our Donald Ross Classic and Ladies’ Spring Classic Member-Member tournaments. These events are always a fantastic opportunity for members to enjoy friendly competition and experience the camaraderie that makes our club so special A sincere thank you to all who participated we’re already looking forward to the many exciting member events still to come this year

We were also proud to have hosted the UNC Health Championship for the third consecutive year. Despite a challenging week filled with rain, our course remained in excellent condition thanks to the incredible efforts of Billy Cole and his team Their hard work did not go unnoticed and was key to the tournament’s success

Congratulations to this year’s champion, Trace Crowe, a Raleigh resident and now the newest member of Raleigh Country Club Trace will be a fantastic ambassador for both the championship and our club.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our members for their unwavering support throughout tournament week. Your enthusiasm and hospitality were deeply appreciated by players, tournament officials, the UNC Health team, and our staff alike

As we look ahead to the summer and fall, we’re excited to continue this momentum with a robust schedule of golf events. If there’s anything I can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out my door is always open

Time: 8:00 Breakfast/9:00 Shotgun Start

Eligibility: RCC Members & Guests, teams must have at least one member

Entry Fee: $40 per player (includes breakfast & prizes-$10 of each entry will go to a donation for the Fairway for Warriors Raleigh Chapter)

*Cart & Guest Fees Not Included

Format: Four-person teams will count one best ball gross plus one best ball net (90% of handicap); must be two different balls Male Contestants will play from a combination of the 6-Red (Burgundy), 6-White, and 6-Blue Tee Markers Female Contestants will play from the Black Tee Markers

JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Date: Wednesday, July 9 | Thursday, July 10

Time: Tee Times TBD

Eligibility: Junior Members

Entry Fee: $25 per player (includes prizes)

Format: Individual Stroke Play

SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Date: Saturday, July 12 | Sunday, July 13

Time: Tee Times starting at 8:00 am (Sat /Sun )

Eligibility: Male Members over the age of 50

Entry Fee: $80 per player (includes lunch and prizes)

*Cart & Guest Fees Not Included

Format: All divisions will play 36 holes of stroke play The Men’s Senior Championship Division (must be age 50 or older) will play from the Blue tee markers. The Men’s Super-Senior Division (must be age 63 or older) will play from the White tee markers

SUMMER JUNIOR GOLF CAMP (AGES 6-11)

We have developed the RCC Summer Junior Golf Camp for juniors interested in learning the game The Camp will teach juniors the fundamentals of the game. We will cover putting, chipping, pitching, bunker, full swing, and rules and demonstrate the importance of etiquette during on-course play days.

Date: July 22 – 24

Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Tuesday-Thursday) Fee: $195

*Optional Afternoon activities & lunch from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm for an additional cost of $100

PARENT-CHILD TOURNAMENT

Date: Sunday, August 10

Time: 12:00 start times for 18-hole competitors (Age 12 and older)

2:30 Shotgun Start for 9-hole competitors (Age 11 and younger)

Eligibility: Members and their children

Entry Fee: $30 per adult and $20 per child (includes prizes)

Format: 18-hole competitors will play one best ball with gross and net prizes awarded. 9-hole competitors will play a two-person Captain’s Choice
