From the Golf Staff at Porters Neck Country Club, we would like to welcome you to the Junior Golfer Program of 2025! Our goal is create an interesting yet exciting golf atmosphere, while teaching life long skills that translate both on and off the golf course. This program will be a fun and active learning environment for your juniors. While this is an athletic program we will also cover the importance of sportsmanship, golf etiquette and golf course maintenance
Golf is a fabulous game that can be enjoyed by every skill level. It is also one of the few sports that can truly last a lifetime. I am sure some of your favorite memories associated with golf will and have been those times shared on the course with family. We look forward to helping your children grow and mature as athletes and young adults through the great game of golf.
Kind Regards, The Golf Staff at Porters Neck Country Club
Our goal as golf professionals is to grow the game of golf. The mission of our Junior Golf Program at Porters Neck CC is to teach your children all aspects of the game of golf. We will provide a fun environment for the juniors while still keeping a focus on learning the skills and techniques required to build a great golf foundation. The core values of our program will also include the importance of sportsmanship and course etiquette
The safety of your children will always be first and foremost. At the beginning of each session we will cover the day’s itinerary as well as rules and safety. If there is ever an issue with a junior golfer concerning safety or health we will take the correct actions whether it includes sitting in the shade, sitting out an activity, heading back to the Golf Shop, or contacting the appropriate parent or guardian.
Please notify the golf professionals at the beginning of the program if there are any medical concerns, physical limitations, injuries, etc.
