INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT
Kathleen Keller has been drawing and painting since childhood. In college she also developed her artistic skills with local and nationally known instructors. As an experienced artist and occupational therapist, she believes creativity is a vibrant force which, when used to express ourselves, can improve our physical and mental health. For over a decade, she worked with abuse victims, using art in their healing process.
As a visual artist, she is inspired by the beauty and intimacies of life, people and their untold stories, and attempts to capture this in her artwork. Though she has worked in other mediums, she now paints primarily in watercolor. She enjoys teaching adult learners, not only because she can help them discover and grow new skills, but because they challenge her to continue to improve herself.
