Stories From The Training Ground Dragica Vidakovic

Stories From The Training Ground It can be expressive, abstract, sarcastic, and factual. It can be influenced and manipulated and, in turn, it can influence its audience. It is definitely creative, most often needs to be interpreted, and provokes questions and debate. It can be bleak and dark, or colourful and exciting. It can be community based or have an international reach. Based on stories recounted, despite my fears and misgivings on my son’s career choice, and beyond the daily rhetoric in the news, this collection is based on the realization that there are moments where comradery, respect and silent understanding between people who see, feel, and go through certain experiences, take precedence. A place of trust, hierarchy and discipline where, even if just for a few minutes, one can be stripped of that influence and the moment is about human beings.
