O believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.

(Quran 4:59)

In an ideal Islamic society, peace and harmony begin at home before extending to the community level and spreading out to the entire world. God has provided us with the perfect way of existence for every aspect of human life. Islam encourages love and peace between husband and wife, gives direction to look out for our neighbours, directs Muslims to help their communities, and on a deeper level, the religion also advocates for loyalty to one’s country of residence. All of these different responsibilities have a common underlying purpose — peace in society.
