The largest college art sale in the country, MCAD’s 2010 Art Sale raised over $300,000, with 80% of revenues going directly to the artists, and the remaining proceeds funding MCAD’s scholarship programs.

Minneapolis-based marketing firm BI Worldwide adopted a new corporate logo last year. The agency of choice? A team of inspired MCAD students, led by design chair Bernard Canniffe.

In May 2011, MCAD’s Board of Trustees approved a strategic plan entitled “The Next Now” that will build on MCAD’s considerable strengths and guide its next phase of creative excellence. As part of the plan, the college adopted a vision statement for the first time — transforming the world through creativity and purpose.
