Understanding your account

Step 1 – Setting up your account To set up an account, visit www.accounts. manage-apprenticeships.service.gov.uk and select ‘create an account’. You will then be asked to input basic information including an email address and password.

Once complete, you will receive an email with an activation code to progress.

Managing your apprentices and recruitment The Apprenticeships section of the homepage allows you to manage your current apprentices and recruit for new ones, by uploading new job listings directly to the NAS. You can of course still choose to recruit through our recruitment service, and if so, you will not need to do anything regarding recruitment on your account. Here, you can also give Middlesbrough College training provider permissions. This will give our team access to your account to support with adding information on your behalf. You can also search through all the available Apprenticeship Standards in this section.

Step 2 – Add a PAYE scheme You can add a PAYE scheme automatically by linking your company’s government gateway ID, or manually by inputting your company PAYE number (usually found on ŸƋ±ý ޱƼŸĬĜŞŸš ±ĹÚ eÏÏŅƚĹƋŸ kþÏå ŠüŅƚĹÚ on any correspondence from HMRC ųåüåųåĹÏå ĹƚĵÆåųšţ Step 3 – Accept the employer agreement ¥Ņƚ ƵĜĬĬ ƋĘåĹ Æå ±ŸĩåÚ ƋŅ ÏŅĹĀųĵ ƼŅƚų company details and accept the employer agreement. This step can be skipped initially however you will not have access to your account homepage until you have accepted this.

Managing Finances The Finances section of the homepage is where you can reserve funding for future ±ŞŞųåĹƋĜÏåŸĘĜŞŸ ±ĹÚ ƴĜåƵ ƼŅƚų ĀűĹÏĜ±Ĭ transactions with training providers.

Managing your Account The Account section of the homepage is ƵĘåųå ƼŅƚ Ï±Ĺ ±ÚÚ ŅƋĘåų ŸƋ±ý ĵåĵÆåųŸ ƋŅ your digital account and set permissions.

Here you can also add connected organisations such as your parent company.
