Our accomplishments don’t end with our range of courses and facilities!

Students aged between 16-19, who are enrolled on a full-time course, have the chance to join a sporting Academy alongside their studies. Each Academy offers specialist coaching to develop sporting excellence, nurture talent and aid personal development. Launched in 2012 and growing from strength to strength, there are now 8 academies to choose from. Our team of highly-qualified coaches within the academies include ex-professional players as well as National-level coaches. 2

These coaches have all played or coached at the top level in the UK and/or abroad, and can pass their skills and experiences on to students. Not only that, by belonging to a Sports Academy, learners will improve their chances of progressing to an elite sports institution in the UK or in the USA. Many of our students progress from Middlesbrough College to University, with some students who are exceptional in their studies gaining a bursary towards their learning.
