OPENING RECEPTION

We extend our sincere thanks to the artists for sharing their vision, to curator David Austin for his thoughtful collaboration, and to Homeira Goldstein and Time4Art for partnering with us on this exhibition. Special appreciation goes to our community for your continued support and enthusiasm for the arts in Manhattan Beach.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception of Continuation, featuring the works of Charles, Natalie, and Ryland Arnoldi. The evening was filled with conversation, creativity, and community as guests gathered to celebrate the Arnoldi family’s first joint exhibition in Greater Los Angeles.

Continuation is on view now through December 28, 2025 at the Manhattan Beach Art Center. We invite you to visit and experience this remarkable exhibition in person.

GALLERY TOURS

Do you want to learn about our current exhibition through the guidance of our amazing Gallery Attendants? The Manhattan Beach Art Center is proud to start hosting guided gallery tours of our current exhibition on Wednesday & Thursdays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 2pm. Tours will run until December 20 , 2025. th

Each tour will lead you through the gallery, providing context or background information about the artist, their work, or the installation of the piece. After the tour, there will be ample time for you to create your own pieces in the Education Space with the guidance of a Gallery Attendant.

Join artist Keith Magruder at the Manhattan Beach Art Center for a hands-on screen printing workshop. In this session, you'll learn how to create DIY screen prints using everyday household items—no traditional equipment required! Keith will guide you through alternative screen printing techniques using simple tools like embroidery hoops, fabric, mesh, and paint. By the end of the workshop, you'll transform these materials into functional printing tools. All materials are included!

HOLIDAY SUCCULENT WREATH WORKSHOPS

Decorate your home with a unique, handmade wreath, filled with dramatic succulents. Because of their resistance to drought, succulents are the perfect living plat for your holiday wreath. Students will assemble a wreath with succulents, grape vines and other decorative elements while learning how to care for and propagate succulents. All materials and plants are included. Ages 16+

Design and cast your own unique sterling silver ring in this beginnerfriendly workshop using the ancient technique of clay casting. You'll carve your design into a specialized one-time-use clay mold, pour molten silver, and bring your creation to life. Learn fundamental metalworking skills like sawing, soldering, forming, and polishing as you shape your ring and attach your custom-cast accent piece. Perfect for beginners and jewelry enthusiasts eager to explore hands-on silver casting—no experience necessary! A materials fee of $85 will be added to the total cost of the class.

GLAZE LAB

Explore the world of ceramics at the Manhattan Beach Art Center. Participants will choose a ceramic object to glaze from our curated selection of mugs, cups, bowls, figurines, and more! Children will be guided through the process of glazing by our Recreation Staff and learn about the ceramic's process.
