40th Anniversary Reception
MBEF is celebrating its 40th Anniversary of supporting the Manhattan Beach public schools on Saturday, May 6 from 10 AM - 12 PM in Metlox Plaza. MBEF and the City of Manhattan Beach would like to invite the entire community to join us for a special presentation, refreshments, and activities for attendees of all ages. As part of the celebration, MBEF will be unveiling the Seeds of Knowledge Community Recognition Project — an artwork by Betsy K Schulz acknowledging the community of educators, parents, students, volunteers, and donors who value and support education. The installation not only celebrates the decades of support of our schools through MBEF and the Endowment, but also invites viewers to explore the significance of education in our lives. The mural depicts a child discovering the world the layers of earth beneath her, the environment around her, and the future represented in the stars. For more information please visit: MBEF
