This year ’ s exhibition features the work of 109 artists who live, work, and play in Manhattan Beach, reflecting the rich diversity and dynamic spirit of our coastal city.

Our Annual Community Exhibition opened to record-breaking attendance on Friday, July 25, with over 650 guests joining us for an unforgettable evening of art, discussion, and community connection. Spanning a wide range of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, mixed media, and more this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience the artistic voices that shape and inspire our community. Whether emerging or established, each artist contributes to a collective portrait of life in Manhattan Beach through their individual perspectives and creative expressions.
More than just an exhibition, this annual tradition is a celebration of community pride, creativity, and the meaningful connections forged through art.

The Manhattan Beach Concerts in the Park is an annual event held each year at Polliwog Park on Sundays from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! Seating is first come, first served! Concerts in the Park are free and well attended; early arrival to obtain prime lawn seating is encouraged.

Take a peak at our exciting lineup of fall classes and workshops at the Manhattan Beach Art Center! From digital painting to succulent arrangement, we have a wide range of activities available for all ages. Whether you ’ re looking to try something new or deepen your practice, our fall session is the perfect time to get inspired and get making.
In this two-part workshop, students will learn the basic principles, history, and significance of Ikebana and then enjoy creating their own Ikebana-inspired arrangements implementing these theories and techniques. In Part 1 of this workshop, you'll design and sculpt a ceramic floral frog (a reusable alternative to the traditional kenzan), which will serve as the foundation for your Ikebana arrangement in Part 2.
